Indy Arts Magazine is actively looking for an experienced art marketing director. The director will be on a contract assignment to assist with marketing materials, such as marketing research and advertising. Commissioned based with no base pay. No per diem! However, opportunity for bonuses upon performance of sales. Pay will increase with growth of magazine based on your production.
Responsibilities

Create documents independently that reflect the advertising market and prove to clients how the magazine will be beneficial to them.
Lead and facilitate the development of new marketing employees as they come aboard. Knowledge in the marketing field is essential.
Follow established processes and keep accurate records, be involved in training of new employees, attend art functions to gain knowledge and to obtain contacts, be a part of the business network groups.
Research and collect information while making recommendations to improve sales.
Work close with artists to market their work in a presentable fashion.
Creative in obtaining other businesses that will advertise but in a way of promoting art along with their business within their advertisement.
Requirements

Strong communication skills a must.
Knowledge and involvement in the art community a plus.
Previous sales experience and/or leadership experience.
Experience writing, presenting marketing materials to cliental.

Are you looking for that unusual place to hold a photo shoot? The weather too unpredictable? Or do you want to use the space to come paint for the day?

These spaces are RAW. Generator is available for locations with no power. LOTS of natural daylight in all locations.

Prices range from $18 an hour to $25 an hour. There is a two hour minimum.

I am a Local Artist/Photographer with a Gallery Show opening in December.
I am looking for two specific body types for a photo shoot. First male model should be very muscular and toned- prefer smooth to very little body hair. Second male model should be naturally built- good arms, shoulders and chest. Strong jawline or rugged facial features are a plus. Photo's will be nude, but endowment will not be shown, so size is not an issue. Models may pose together for a couple of shots, but nothing sexual in nature. In fact if you are looking for anything of a sexual nature -please do not respond! Models must be at least 21 years old. Models must be serious, mature and professional. If interested please send a photo of yourself shirtless, along with your age and contact information. If chosen we will meet and discuss compensation, privacy, single shoot contract and theme of shoot. Photo's will be taken on location and in studio, (November) date and time TBD. Please do not think you have to be GORGEOUS to be a model- the look for this shoot will be of everyday men...your brother, neighbor, friend...dude down the block that drives a scooter. This new art gallery�s mission and motto is: �Artist First�. Art and Soul by Phoebe Gallery will be focusing on the art and artists which includes low commissions on sales: 20% for established/up and coming artists and 10% for student artists (currently enrolled) with no membership fees, unheard of in traditional galleries. The gallery will be providing a Senior High School Student Scholarship Program and month long show with the scholarship awarded in the late spring of 2010. I'm sure you have your reasons for bashing the OP in public like that, but let's see you put your money where your mouth is. You must know something of excellence, so please, show us why you are an expert on excellence. What work have you done that qualifies you to come down so hard on the OP?

For the record, I was not impressed by the OP's work myself. What I did is this: I didn't hire him to do any work for me. I did NOT post, for everyone to see, a rather harsh, non-constructive piece of criticism that in no way demonstrates what might put me in a position to be so critical.
