We need someone to modify our existing ads to meet publication requirements, adapt and change the size of ads to fit in the space required, and to create new ads as our needs arise. Because I travel a great deal of time, most communication regarding our needs will be electronic although for large assignments such as new ads some face to face in office meetings will be required. We use a G5 Macintosh computer and graphic software, primarily InDesign and Photoshop. Most files are sent to the publications as a .pdf. Major Duties and Responsibilities
? Assist the Sales Team in preparing for automotive sales presentations with strong emphasis on qualitative and quantitative research.
? Develop customized research pieces and presentations for Comcast clients. All pieces and presentations must follow corporate and local sales philosophy and brand.
? Keep abreast of corporate direction; liaison to corporate research.
? Create materials from research tools to highlight trends, rankings, demographics and ratings.
? Provide support for clients via available research and promotions.
? Make suggestions on research software for local market.
? Maintain and update research software applications.
? Maintain current and accurate files on all networks and other research-based information (maintain Resource Library).
? Coordinate creation of all research materials (books) and pieces.
? Coordinate research software/activities with Corporate and Regional associates.
? Produce a monthly report for Sales Management of client spending in the marketplace utilizing Competitive Media Reports software.
? Print, copy and issue quarterly ratings data and daily overnight reports to the sales staff.
? Train and assist Account Executives and other Sales staff in developing research skills.
? Assists in the creation of area coverage maps and zone information.
? Communicate research issues to Sales Team in staff meetings, when appropriate.
? Communicate with other Mid Atlantic Research Analysts to share best practices and create consistent practices within the Division.
? Keep abreast of National trends and initiatives.
? Keep abreast of market trends and possible new revenue sources, such as digital advertising.
? Develop and present annual market spending report, tracking product categories.
? Develop and maintain industry/company presence through networking in professional organizations.
? Organize cable network programming, research, and qualitative information for weekly/monthly distribution to associates.
? Constantly improve knowledge of available research, cable television advertising and sales including attending appropriate seminars and conferences.
? Provide on-going training for sales staff in the understanding and application of research.
? Assist Account Executives and Sales Management in the formulation of research-based proposals/schedules utilizing the above-mentioned data.
? Coordinate and supervise the development of all sales materials for proposals/kits.
? Coordinate and supervise the creation and implementation of Sports and Special Packages (does not include promotions) Coop Calendar.
? Create and supervise the production of monthly cable network programming calendars.
? Positive Attitude and Team participation at all times.
? Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required.
? Must be available for overtime or extended hours, as needed.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
? Experience in cable, media, or agency research or equivalent experience.
Education:
? Degree in Business Marketing, Advertising, Statistics preferred; or equivalent in experience.

WE ARE: A professional custom wood window and door company. We take great pride in our work including how we look at trade shows. Nothing happens until someone sets a lead! We don't run phony sales or do hokey drawings/give-aways. At shows we engage perons and get appointments. It's easy work for those who can.

WE'RE SEEKING: Well groomed, experienced person to speak with persons at shows about replacing windows and doors. Experience in windows and doors is not as important as the ability to engage persons. EXPERIENCE THOUGH IS A PLUS. Goal/measure of performance is appointments set and sold. This position sets appointments at the shows, from the booth for the owner to run.
