This is a copy of my email sent to Sen. Bayh on 11/4/09. (In response to Sen. Bayh's Office response to an earlier email of basically the same content) but the Respondent instead did a great dance but never directly gave me an answer.
My request to Senator Bayh:
Dear Sen Bayh,
Thank you for your response to my first email to your office. I am very appreciative.
In your response, you noted the many accomplishments that were made by you and your Office's behalf, and they were all very positive. I appreciate your hard work.
But you really did not address the topic of the email; which was: "Support the Public Option. Back your President and party and don't forget your roots."
Now I am hearing that you are contemplating a filibuster on this issue. Really, if you do something as this, you may as well abandon the Democratic Party and join the opposition.
Think about this (maybe you have already): 46+ million in this country uninsured. This number is more than the total populations of Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois combined.
12.6 million denied coverage (like me) due to pre-existing conditions; denied either through outright refusal or excessive premium rates.
Please don't let your Wellpoint connections influence your decision on the Well-being of your constituents in Indiana and of the rest of the folks in this nation who are in genuine need.
I hope that you reconsider your stance on the Public Option and act in the best interests of the People and support the Public Option when the time to vote comes.
And never forget; you are a Democrat elected by registered Democrats (and some Independents too). The Democratic Party has long been the "Party of the People"; the Working Class, the dis-advantaged and the "regular Joe's" (not to be confused with the fake current conservative icon Joe the plumber)

Even if Senator Bayh has some "special" interests in his political career, his number one priority should be the interests of the people of the State of Indiana.
