Due to a rough year I need a new place to live. I have been living by myself for the past year but am unable to afford to resign my lease. You know the story, job moved to a different country due to struggling economy and struggled to find a more demeaning, lesser-paying job that I am now a slave to. I'm 31, responsible, and pretty easygoing. I have a 5-year-old black lab that is FULLY housetrained, friendly and only barks when necessary (he's been my alarm system as a single woman living on my own). He's pretty well-mannered. I also have a 12 year old son that is with me every other weekend. He too is easygoing and respectful of others. My goal is to find a room to rent or someone that wants to share a place and I figured my son could have my room on his weekends. I work 40 hours at my day job and I will be seeking a part time job as well, trying to save up some cash. I do smoke, but would be willing to limit to outside. I drink on occasion but don't really have a bunch of people over. My home is my haven and place of zen. I don't bring drama to my house.
I've never solicited a roommate on the internet but I figured I'm kinda down to the wire and my options are limited. Male, Female, gay, straight, I'm pretty cool with just about anyone. Please no psychos, people looking for "more than roommates," druggies, etc.
