I would not normally do this......but on my end, it is getting pretty desperate. I am 26 years old and I am a single mom trying to raise my 8yr. old son . He is blind, autistic, and suffers from seizures. He currently attends the Indiana School for the Blind. I am currently attending Kaplan College to become a medical assistant. In the eights months of me attending Kaplan, I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA. There are lots of things i do not have for my son, nor myself. I have tried going to every organization or resources that I could find, and found that they do not help with everything. I am currently in need of boys clothes size 12-14H.....I am currently in need of a DEPENDABLE car. I currently have a 1996 Monte Carlo, but it is about to break down(ball-joints, tune-up, brakes, tires, and struts) I drive this car every day, but I fear it will break down on 465 in construction....or on my way to driving my son to Riley hosp. for an appointment. And gas prices are killing me, and taking away from my sons needs, but I have to finish school to make my sons life better. Even getting food stamps from the government does not help. I have waiting 4 weeks to recieve money to purchase food for my son. (Because they had fired 5 caseworkers, and my case is on backorder, supposably) I am also looking for a CHEAP place to live at in the CAMBY/MOORESVILLE area. I recieve $600 a month in my sons disability. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Any questions please e-mail me e.mcmurtry@yahoo.com.....thank you for reading my story and prayers are welcomed. My son did not ask to be here, and I just want to make sure while he is here on this earth I want him to be the happiest kid ever. He deserves everything that this world has to offer. Thank you
