Children and teenagers with Bipolar I Disorder have periods of being very irritable or angry. They have other periods of being unusually happy or down and sad. They may also have trouble sleeping, may act without thinking, and may be very active.
If your child has been diagnosed or experiences symptoms of Bipolar I Disorder, call 317-278-3472. Doctors at IU School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry are conducting a clinical research study of a medication that may help children with their bipolar symptoms. Participants must be age, 10-17, and currently taking a medication for Bipolar I Disorder. Risks will be disclosed prior to study enrollment.
