My wife was raised in a home built in 1881 and handed down from grandpa, to son, to children. Her father fired up the stove for bath time and washing dishes. When the heater was not running water was heated on the kitchen stove. When my wife's father passed during the 1960's there was nobody remaining in the home that could run the heater and it was replaced. When her mother passed the house was sold and my wife took the heater with the intent of using it as a decorative item in our home. The heater did not fit with our decorations at the time and it was put in the basement where it has resided ever since acquired. It deserves a better home.
The heater is a GOLDBLATT'S BOND NO 55-D and was operational at the time it was taken out of service. Water is heated as it passes through the unit on top of the furnace, which is underneath. The unit is 16" wide and 22" high (not counting the plumbing pipe on top).
Terms: Cash
It takes two to move the heater and I cannot be one of the two.
