This lamp, 17 inches high, sat on my mother's dresser for years. Sometimes called a doll lamp, dates to the 1950s. Beneath the skirt a light glowed softly. It just needs a socket and a cord with plug–simple enough, really. Even I could do it–but I never got around to it. So here is the ceramic figure, the metal framework on which the full skirt rests (lifted in the photo so you can see the frame beneath), and the entire skirt itself, which could use a little sewing on the trim, but it is all there. $5.
Oh by the way, it's white; the light makes it look pinkish but it's not.
