make / manufacturer: Columbia
model name / number: AJ
This is the second style of the Columbia AJ Disc Graphophone. It was introduced in 1903. It has the early style of Analyzing reproducer that has a thumb crew and connects to the horn with a leather elbow. It has a 10-inch diameter turntable. This machine does run but the reproducer would have to be repaired before it could be used. All the parts are original, but the lower support arm has a crack, so a high quality reproduction arm was purchased for it some years ago. Both arms will be included with the phonograph. It will be available for purchase at the Third Annual Midwest Music Expo show and sale of antique phonographs, records, record cabinets, advertising, radios, and music boxes on:

Saturday, June 15, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Sunday June 16, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Admission for Saturday is $10.00. Admission Sunday is $5.

The show is located at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1800 East Golf Road, Schaumburg, Illinois 60173. Please note all sales will be cash only. Please join us.
