Removed from working environment. The batteries were in service for 1 year before the unit was powered off. That's been 2 years ago, so you'll likely need new batteries.
The connector to the wall (to the power source) is, I think, called a NEMA 5-20P It's not the normal wall socket that your toaster would use. Note the plug in the photo.
