Velotric T-1 Electric bike, size large. Aluminum bicycle, battery enclosed in downtube, upgraded carbon bars (Whisky Parts Co.), seat post (also Whisky), and saddle (Fizik). Shimano 1x8 gearing. Upgraded tires (Panaracer Gravel King SK 43mm) are nearly new. Fenders sold by Velotric are currently not installed but will be included. Platform pedals included. Front light is powered by the battery and is automatic; taillight is included and rechargeable.
Bike has about 150 miles on it. (Nice thing about electric bikes, the app keeps track of that kind of thing.)
This is a pedal assist bike. It is advertised to provide 70 miles range. Experience shows that at full power I can get that on economy setting, higher power output decreased the range. Outdoor air temperatures, wind, etc. all affect those numbers. In practical terms I can get a day's commuting + errands on a single charge and recharge at night.
Find info on this bike at velotricbike dot com. At 36 lbs (before add-ons) Velotric is one of the lightest and most natural feeling rides among electric bikes. With battery discharged or bike turned off, the motor disconnects and the bike rides like a normal hybrid bicycle. T-1 is the top of the Velotric range and retails for a currently discounted $1599, though last I checked none are in stock.
Large size is supposed to fit 5'10" to 6'5". I am 6'2" and I find this to be a great fit with seat post extended a fair bit.
Selling because 2024 was an electric bike experiment year and I am keeping the drop bar one.
