Native American full-grooved axe-head / tool found by a farmer in southeast Illinois (Edwards County) probably around 100 years ago. This was part of a collection I bought from his grandson. It is very large, weighing nearly 6 pounds (5 lb, 13oz) … dimensions: 8” x 4.25” x 3” … probably granite or a similar hardstone. Unfortunately, part of the tip was broken off but it is 90% intact and is still an impressive artifact. The U.S. dollar bill is shown for scale.
Price is $80. Contact me via email, phone or text. I live east of Indy between Greenfield and Pendleton (about 20 miles east of Indy). My name is Phil.
