*Error* 1997 Happy Holidays Barbie Doll & Ornament - $100 (Grenwood)

( Brown Hair and Green Eyes ) Contents: Barbie Doll, red & white gown, hand ring, earrings, shoes, necklace, tiara, hair brush and doll stand. Special Note: This Barbie doll is no ordinary 1997 Happy Holidays Barbie. This is the well-known *error* Barbie that many people think they have. Many people think the error is the gold background and that this is special. This is not the case. The gold background is common and was not an error. What makes this doll special is that the doll has green eyes but the portrait on the back of the box (that features the same Barbie) has blue eyes. It wasn't long before Mattel caught their mistake and fixed it by changing the portrait Barbie's eyes to green so that it would match the actual doll. This is a wonderful Error Barbie Doll that any Barbie collector should have in their collection! This Barbie doll is mint and has never been taken out of the box. She comes dressed in a ruffled red and white gown topped off with a tiara. The box is in new condition. Stand is included in unopened box. I am also including the 1997 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Holiday Barbie in new condition unopen box.
