John Hench was a Disney Legend. He joined Disney in 1939. Was an original Imagineer. He worked on Fantasia and Dumbo to name a few. He won an Oscar for Special Effects for 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. He designed for Tomorrowland at Disneyland. He was key in Epcots creation and design. He worked at Disney for 65 years up until his death on February 5th 2004 at the age of 95.

This work John Hench created with Al Dempster another Disney Legend. He worked on the movie Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, Sleeping Beauty, Jungle Book and more. Al retired in 1973 and passed on June 28, 2001.

The Giclee subject was done originally for Golden Publishing for the Walt Disney Peter Pan book. This is not the Little Golden one, but the large book. I had this book from my earliest memory around 1969. I am the original owner of the Giclee. It has been well taken care of and properly handled. It was bought in Disney World at The Fine Arts store.

This is a VERY RARE piece.

As you can see its a Limited Edition of 350. This one is number 23. Its hand signed and certified. I even have the original receipt. The subject, Peter Pan, and the artists as well as the limited edition and proper care make this a very valuable piece.
