Hello everyone, I am looking for your help! I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University and I am actively involved in the Indiana University Dance Marathon (IUDM) for Riley Children’s Hospital. This event is a 36-hour dance marathon that occurs every year at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Over 4,000 IU students volunteer and raise money for IUDM and last year alone we raised over 4 million dollars for Riley Children’s Hospital. The money raised from IUDM helps cover treatment fees for the children as well as support for the families of the Riley kids.

To qualify and dance for the dance marathon, students need to raise a minimum of $550. This is my goal this year and I am already on my way! I have raised $175 of my $550 goal. This means I only need $375 to qualify for the marathon. I broke this number down into an easier goal of having 75 people donate $5. That’s all it takes, $5. $5 could be your daily coffee or a snack from the store, or it could help a sick child in need. Donations of any amount would be immensely helpful in the achievement of my goal and in the support of our Riley Kids. The only catch is that I need to raise the remaining $375 by THIS WEDNESDAY (11/6)!!
I am a member of the Theta Phi Alpha dancer team for the marathon and this year we are fortunate enough to sponsor a Riley Kid that has benefitted from previous IUDM donations to the hospital. She will be coming to dance with us at the marathon and I would love to meet the girl we have worked so hard for throughout the past year. I would really like to raise the remaining amount in order to qualify for the marathon and see all of our team’s efforts and dedication pay off.
Here is the link to my donation page below, PLEASE share this post or the link to your Facebook profiles, pages, groups, family and friends so I can achieve my goal of $375 by this Wednesday!
