Looking for an IT/low voltage tech for a 1-day network cabinet installation in Indianapolis.
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Set up a 12U cabinet and mount to existing backer board
• Install patch panel, UPS, firewall, and switch in cabinet
• Re-terminate up to 24 ethernet runs, including 2 new runs for APs
• Mount 2 access points
TECH WILL NEED:
• Standard tools for rack and stack work
• Punch down / termination tools
• Own reliable transportation
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Prior experience with network cabinet setup and equipment mounting
• Ethernet termination / punch down experience
• Familiarity with patch panels, switches, and access point installation
Pay: $30/hr – paid for full 8-hour day ($240) regardless of how long it takes.
Gas: $20 stipend provided.
