Selling my 2000 Ford Excursion Limited with the 6.8L V10, 2-valve, 4WD. Very solid truck. I recently bought another truck and don’t really need two, so I’m listing this one. Not in a rush to sell.
New and recent maintenance (most with paperwork):
Radiator and thermostat
Front end kit
Steering rack and power steering pump
Brakes and brake lines
Heater core
Headlights and bulbs
Upgraded cup holders
LED 3rd brake light
Alignment
Fresh oil change and coolant flush at approx. 223,000 miles
Fresh transmission service with filter kit and new housing at approx. 221,000 miles
Transmission was also flushed about 50,000 miles before the most recent service
Oil has been changed every 3–4k miles
Known issues:
Passenger side exhaust manifold leak
Rear panel (3rd row) window actuator is out
Overdrive toggle and cruise control do not work
Other details:
Light body rust, medium rust on the dog leg (typical for age)
Interior is in good shape for a 2000
Starts, runs, and drives great.
Drive it everyday and twice on Sundays.
