I bought this several years ago and used it to record some new mono records, like The Beatles in mono on LP. This is a Mono cartridge made in Japan. This should only be bought by someone who knows how to set up a high quality turntable. It is heavier than the average phono cartridge, so the turntable that it is mounted on, must be able to counterbalance it’s weight. The stylus is not replaceable, but it hasn’t been used that much. Some audiophiles might say that it isn’t even broken in yet, to attain it’s best sound. A link to Amazon is below, they have a used one for sale for $495.00 Maybe they will get that, but it’s still for sale, so no one has paid that much yet.
