Item's Personal History: This was gifted to my dad; brand new and out of the box, 2 months ago. I am the one who assembled it. He sat in it once, before he went to the hospital. At 89 years old, he didn't like that it was hard for him to get out of. It does require some leg strength to kick the leg section back into position. I sat in it under 10 times and honestly I love it. I'd keep it if I wasn't leaving the state. Comes from a non-smoking home.
