** 50 Organic Garlic Chive Seeds. These seeds were collected and dried last year. They are ready to be planted in 2026. The parent plant was sowed and planted completely organically in home produced organic compost and organic soil amendments. No pesticides were ever used. Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed Organic 2-3-1 Fertilizer was used occasionally.
Garlic Chives have a tangy flavor. Their taste is in between chives and garlic. They are a perennial.
- Sow in full sun after danger of frost.
- Can be sowed indoors.
- Cover with 1/4” of fine soil.
- Keep evenly moist.
- Seedlings emerge in 7-14 days.
- Thin to 3” apart when seedlings are about 1-2” high.
- Height 18 to 24”
- 80-90 days to harvest.
- Container friendly.
- Plant 3 plants per 12” container.
