My small family of three, soon to be four, is seeking to rent a quiet home in a rural setting by May 1. We are hoping to pay about $1200 a month or less. My husband works in property preservation and I have interior design experience, though I am now a flower farmer. Our last country home rental was listed for sale several times in a few year period before we moved in (after the owners decided they weren't going to be able to sell it). We spent three years there and had time to make it our own. After some simple switches in paint color and minor touch-ups around the home it sold quickly.

We are seeking a 2+ bedroom home in a country setting where we can connect with nature/the outdoors while raising our children to do the same. We enjoy making the energy in our homes feel comfortable and welcoming so that the next person living there feels it as well.
We have two blue heeler mixes aged 4 and 8, house trained (one who stays in a crate when we aren't home). They have been with us in multiple rentals with no issues.
