We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in their work, and isn't afraid to get dirty.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare industrial laundry equipment for refurbishment and shipment
Pressure wash, degrease, and remove debris from machines and components
Sand, mask, prime, and paint industrial equipment
Assist technicians with machine disassembly and reassembly
Operate forklifts to move equipment throughout the shop and warehouse
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Use hand and power tools as needed
Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE
Perform other general shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
Preferred:
Previous forklift experience and/or forklift certification
Experience in industrial cleaning, manufacturing, equipment refurbishment, automotive painting, or general labor
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Requirements:
Must be dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment throughout the day
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Willingness to learn new skills and assist wherever needed
