Looking for Groundsmen for a tree service company.
This is a traveling position working throughout Southern Indiana and Illinois along the Indiana border. Typical schedule is drive out Sunday night, work Monday–Thursday 12 hour days Monday - Wednesday and 7 hours on Thursday with Fridays worked occasionally. You will need to stay near the jobsite during the week and book your own lodging. Per Diem will be provided for travel costs of 130 per day including Sunday so $650 a week untaxed for 4 nights out of town. Guys typically spend 200-300 a week or less if they split a room. Looking for people who live within a 3 hours’ drive of the work area.
Must be hard-working, dependable, easy to get along with, physically fit, and have a clean driving record. Duties include dragging brush, feeding the chipper, jobsite cleanup, driving a truck with trailer, and assisting climbers and bucket truck operators. Tree or chainsaw experience is a plus but not required.
Pay: groundsman $18-20 hour + $130/day
