About five years ago, my mom's storage unit in southern Indianapolis went to auction. None of us, her adult children, could pay off the debt for her. With the auction of the storage unit, we lost a few of her paintings and many of our own personal items.
The paintings are whimsical and often include the face of a goddess, moons, an old barn, or dream-like surreal images. They might be signed with a name that starts with an "A" or "As****". If it looks like a standard landscape painting, it's not hers. I don't have any photos of them any longer, unfortunately.
I'm going out on a whim to look for them, and see if anyone knows what happened to them. She has five children who would all love to see the paintings recovered.
Please contact me if you might have a lead. Will discuss a reward for found paintings.
