I am a former professional touring guitar technician and I was also the lead technician for an internationally known guitar manufacturer. I was the primary guitar tech for one of the world's greatest rock guitarists of all time for many years and have returned home to Indy. While currently servicing exclusive clientele collections and a select few touring professionals, I see there is a need for local rock guitarists to have an option to getting their guitars serviced in a more efficiently oriented time frame.

I am offering guitar repair at more reasonable prices and a more realistic completion time. If you're tired of waiting weeks for your guitar to be up and running, I may be your solution. I have over 35 yrs experience in guitar mechanics and 50 yrs as a player. Working as a performer, a technician and a builder/designer, I can get your guitar up and running from a player's perspective (your perspective) rather than a theortic factory spec-oriented luthier. As a guitar mechanic, I can work with you to get the most out of what you want out of your guitar.

Also, I excel at Floyd Rose set-up and I can teach you how to maintain your guitar so it doesn't go out of whack.

Below is my pricing, which is competitively lower than most of the local shops here in the Indy area. I'm always willing to work with you on multiple aspects of your guitar though.

I carry most of the popular gauges of strings and I have quite an arsenal of parts (new and used), pickups (new and used). While I don't offer finish work and wood work, I have a network of other luthiers both local and national that I can refer you to.

Basic Set-Up: $80
-includes truss rod adjustment saddle height adjustment and intonation
-Floyd Rose set-up add $20
-re-string if needed during set-up add $7

Neck Work:
-fret leveling, re-crown & polish $125
-fret end filing $75
-nut replacement (Fender, Gibson, acoustic, etc) $100

Electrical:
-minimum bench fee $20
-pickup change and install $50 each
-complete re-wire $75
-electronics cleaning $15
-pot replacement:
1-$30
2-$50
3-$75
4-$100

Minor Fixes:
-adjust action and intonation $40
-adjust truss rod $20
-dowel and drill for strap buttons $30
-cleat wood cracks for acoustic guitar body $20/inch

Floyd Rose:
-set-up (includes bridge height adjustment, spring balancing and intonation) $100
-modification (FU-Tone, etc hardware) ask for quote
-dowel and replace pivot insert $75 each side
-adjust locking nut shelf height $50
