These "teal stripe" and the "silver stripe" Bandits were the two best Bandit series solid state amps for the money you can buy. Though not labeled as such, they were the first model to have the transtube technology, a solid state amp with tube amp tone and dynamics. It also has durable steel jack inputs, while the "Red stripe" version had cheap plastic jack inputs. Earlier teal stripe Bandits had Scorpion speakers while later ones had the Sheffield speaker, which is considered by most players to be have a much better tone. This amp has the Sheffield speaker. Bright and clear with a strong mid range, unlike the muddy Scorpion. This amp is very clean and has seen little use. Tube prices keep going up and up, having gone up 50% just since 2022. Has the original Peavey footswitch. Not interested in any trades at this time, as my aim is to sell off some gear and not acquire more.
