I've had this 78 Jazz for about 10 years. Serial number S731226. The neck date is 74. All original.
I am willing to sell it, but I don't mind keeping it. It plays beautifully. I love the neck. It's slightly less wide than the necks of my other basses, the fretboard has a nice roundness to it, and the frets are very low. You can play clean and fast with a good tone and no buzz.
I have the original bridge, case, and pickup covers. You will get the bridge that's installed plus the original Fender bridge. If I get around to it, I may put the original bridge back on it and sell it like that, but for now it comes with two bridges.
Nice lows plus nice highs for slapping. When you play it, you will love it. I'm not gigging as much, and I found a cheaper bass for now, so I can let it go if the right buyer comes along. I have already raised the price once, and I will raise it again at some point if it hasn't sold.
If you'd like to hear it before trying it out, I can send you some youtube links.
