Original owner, purchased new in 1997.
This was Roland's flagship set at the time. This set has been well-maintained and kept in good shape. The module does have the upgrade expansion card. The V-drum pads have been stored very carefully and are in excellent condition. All the rubber is original and excellent. The module is in very good condition with only 3 age-related conditions:
1) the value wheel is worn out: it works, but skips.
2) there are 2 thin green lines in the display from age.
3) the headphone jack sometimes only transmits in mono and has to be jiggled a little for stereo.

Everything works great on these drums. They are perfect for the hobbyist/student. Apartment-friendly set.
