I am a piano tuner/technician. All of the pianos I offer for sale receive 2-3 days worth of prep work to make them play their best. Tuning is just the tip of the iceberg!
Additionally, each piano is checked for structural deficiencies like: soundboard cracks, pressure ridges, separation from ribs or rim, reverse crown, loose or untunable tuning pins, bridge splits, plate cracks or warping, rodent damage, pet “fire hydrant” syndrome, smoke damage/smell, etc.
I simply don’t sell any pianos with any of these problems.
