67 YO bass player and environmentalist looking for likeminded musicians and writers to create a set list of
music designed to challenge and encourage a larger audience of the need for societal change. Hoping to move our hearts and actions toward a sustainable future in light of the threat of global warming, more severe weather events, displaced populations due to rising ocean levels, etc. If you know what I'm saying I don't need to say any more.
I think we can bridge the cultural and political gap with music and drama.

This is more recent description of where I am at:
Four years ago I bought an old farm which I intend to use as a community center in the area of 42nd and Post Road. It has open space outside and a 25' x 46' second floor loft that would work for inside events.
There are alot of needs in that area and I hope to use music as a way to draw neighbors together.
I have come to a more enlightened if not alarmed realization of climate change, rising global temperatures, powerlessness and alienation within the overall population. Music can communicate on that level as well
I have some ability to play electric bass. My preferred styles would include folk, country, and some blues. I know a few others who play music as well but do not do much in the local music scene in Broadripple, Fountain Square or downtown, even though I live fairly close.

I have Facebook pages for myself and the farm- Phoenix Urban Farm, but no websites. If you introduce yourself I can send you the links.

My next event is Sat June 29, an open event starting with a tour of the aquaponics hoophouse we have started, dinner and music following. Come check us out!
