For sale from a low mile Georgia two owner 1998 Mercedes Sl500 is a Panorama glass roof hardtop. The color is MB 702 Smoke Silver exterior and MB Beige Code 265 A. If you want another exterior color the exterior paint can be wrapped in another color by a professional as I have seen done on another roof. I can not describe this any better than Mercedes did in its 1998 SL500 brochure when it stated: "The Panorama glass roof option represents a unique alternative to the standard hardtop. A panel of heat-reflecting safety glass 5 mm thick spans from the windshield header to the raked and gently curved rear window. Recontoured quarter windows give the SL a sleeker profile with the panorama roof installed. The glass roof panel only lets in about 15 percent of ambient light and manual mesh sunshade can be drawn for protection from strong sunlight." This was a $3000+ option in 1998 and my price is consistent with prior sale prices, The glass is all original and the in excellent condition with no scratches as is the headliner. Scratches show in the photos on the side pillars. One photo taken from the interior of the car is shown looking at the sky through the operable sunshade. I with meet you half way up to my limit of 200 miles from if you agree on the asking price.
