Come join our team as a CAD Designer! 

The CAD Designer I is critical to the organizion through using CAD software to provide support and produce accure and detailed informion in a timely manner to enable first time quality for clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Software / CAD

•  Produce plumbing and mechanical designs based on client and company specificions using CAD software
•  Produce dimensioned plans for single family projects to be used by field teams for construction

Project Design

•  Comprehensively cree merial lists of all necessary merials for each design
•  Identify plumbing needs for different fixtures being used in the design and accurely placing drains for these fixtures
•  Consistently place fixture drain and wer line points in locions per RTM Standard practices
•  Accurely place HVAC diffusers and equipment

 Informion Ghering

•  Carefully review and understand builder documents associed with each project and correctly interpret builder options to accurely complete designs
•  Understand plumbing and HVAC code requirements to ensure designs are code compliant

 Communicion

•  Clearly communice with other trades, architects, general contractors, field engineers, project managers, field staff, and relevant internal departments such as estiming, to ensure applicable informion is captured and all individuals are kept abreast of project progress
•  Correctly use project management software to coordine with internal team

QUALIFICATIONS 

•  Clear, effective communicions skills – both written and verbal
•  Good ability to collabore and incorpore multiple perspectives into work product
•  Aptitude for prioritizing and problem-solving
•  Preference for accuracy, tention to detail, and organizion
•  Mastery of entire Microsoft Suite plus Internet and email
•  Experienced in AutoCAD or other reled software
•  Ability to utilize Autodesk Design Review and Bluebeam software
•  A high school diploma or GED is required, Associe or Bachelor degree preferred
•  2 years CAD design software experience
• Basic construction knowledge required 

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 

LOCATION: On-site, Indianapolis locion
