Hello not sure how to even start this. I guess I’ll just be honest. It’s an embarrassing situation. I just went through a divorce. And I was not with my wife when she first bought our home she had been there almost a year her name was on the deed so I dint contest the house we lived in together for 3-1/2 years. Even though I did so much remodeling to the property inside and out. So now I have to find some where to move I have a felony dui from 4 years ago and I’m having trouble with ppl wanting to rent to me over it. I don’t drink anymore or do any kind off other drugs. I work full time as a carpenter. I can build a house from the ground up. My children are older and live with their mother so it’s just me I got to worry about. But the price of rent these days is crazy especially with first and last months rent and deposit. Between my car payment and child support saving up that kind of money just hasn’t been something I’ve been able to do. couple that with having a felony is marking it seem impossible. So I’m about to have to start living in my car if I don’t figure it out. A friend told me to post on here and see if I can find a landlord willing to work with me I can do remodeling work to make up the difference. Or if some one has a room for rent. Anything wld be a god send even a camper in someone’s back yard till I get back on my feet. Thank you for your time and consideration.
