This is a Coleman AT125UT in excellent condition with only 3 miles on it. Our daughter bought it brand new at Rural King in 2021 for the grandkids and it was only ridden a few times around the yard. This past year she was unable to get it started and decided to sell it as they opted for a go-cart instead as that seems a bit safer.
I bought it from her and messed with it for a few weeks trying to start it, thinking it was only bad gasoline. I drained the tank, cleaned the carb, replaced the spark plug and installed a new battery but still no luck getting it started.
Since then I discovered you can buy almost anything for these ATVs on amazon. Found a fully assembled carb for about $15. Installed the new carb and it fired right up. To my surprise the new carb didn't even need any adjustments. Starts with a single push of the button and idles perfectly.
Although these are marketed for kids, this one is big enough for adults to enjoy as well. It's certainly not fast, but the speed limitation is only because of the lever action throttle. It can be changed with a standard twist throttle in less than five minutes for about $15, without even changing the cable. Also it does not have four wheel drive, but it's good enough to ride around on trails for fun or just take it to the end of the driveway to check the mail.
At any rate, I don't recommend this for anyone who is not familiar with motorcycles or at least working on small engines. It requires a little knowledge to know how to work a manual choke, drain the carb bowl for storage, and most importantly shut off the fuel valve when not in use.
I nearly killed myself with this thing and it wasn't from riding it. While troubleshooting the non starting issues, I had left it in the garage overnight with the fuel valve open and the carburetor leaked all over my garage floor. I woke up in the morning with about a gallon of gas on the floor and a garage full of gas fumes. And guess where the furnace is?
How our whole damned house didn't explode I have no idea, but I'm thankful for that and lesson learned. Never store any bikes or ATVs without shutting off the fuel valve. I'm only admitting my stupidity here because I would never want to see this happen to anyone else.
Anyway, I'm fully aware you can buy these brand new at Tractor Supply for around $1700 but this one is in new mechanical condition for $1500 and ready to go with no assembly required or taxes to pay. It's in my motorcycle trailer and I'm willing to deliver it to anywhere in central Indiana for the price of my fuel.
Trades I might consider would be an American (hardtail) Fender Strat, American Fender Tele, or Gibson Les Paul in good playable condition. Let me know what you have and we can talk.
