HFG Communities Division is looking for a candidate to operate heavy equipment such as a backhoe, excavator, Bobcat to repair water/sewer pipes; repair lift stations, wells, and other heavy work at our property sites.
The ideal candidate would be centrally located and be available to travel between IN and eastern IL, where our communities are located. A valid driver's license is a MUST.

Skilled to operate industrial equipment such as backhoe, excavator, etc.
Summary: Work will be done in conjunction with Special Projects Manager, and Area Managers who will have input into priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Other tasks will be assigned as needed.
Responsible for fixing / monitoring community infrastructure (water/sewer lines, lift stations, waste water treatment plants, wells, etc.) at our Indiana and Illinois properties.
Review electrical and contractor bids, for price / quality of work, as needed.
Ensure all lift stations are on a preventive maintenance program and fixing water leaks, and sewer clogs as needed.
Purchasing, using / applying degreaser for all properties lift stations, and copper sulfate for all community sewer lines on a regular quarterly or semiannual basis.
Set up and teach (as needed) classes for home Winterization in late August / September.
Evaluate major capital expenditure projects as directed.
Basic working knowledge of Google Docs, Smart Phone Apps, G-mail, etc.
Other special projects as outlined by the Special Projects Manager.
