I have a 66' barracuda project I'm thinking about selling. Its a bit of a Frankenstein. Inherited the project from a friend. I won't have the time to get it done right.
The good:
- mechanically, this thing has a lot of upgrades that aren't OEM.
-current motor is a 5.7 hemi from a 2006 Charger R/T. Transmission is from the charger as well. Automatic.
-had all new suspension put in before I acquired it. Its on adjustable coil overs now.
-all new racing brakes from wilwood. Have the master cylinder as well. Just haven't swapped it out yet.
- the rear end is from a 64 coronet. It was chopped down to fit the barracuda. Had a custom drive shaft made from a shop in Pennsylvania.
- the headers and exhaust were custom made to fit since the car wasn't built for a 5.7 hemi. There is a small hole in the exhaust I found that can be welded. Looks like it was scraped on the ground when getting picked up by a tow truck.
-custom gas tank was made to fit as well.
-it does fire up and run. Havent test driven yet because i wanted to put new master cylinder on before i did anything. I have all new coil packs and spark plugs that I need to switch out. One of the coil packs is bad. I've sourced which one. But bought all new to replace.
-brand new battery. Mounts in the trunk now because of the wiring harness from the charger.
-tires are from a Chrysler 300. They are in good shape. Just need to air them up a bit. Been sitting in my garage.
-the glass is all original.

The bad:
- a lot of the parts are not OEM.
-the body has bad rust on both rear quarter panels and the trunk lid. There is some surface rust in some other areas. But nothing a little sanding cant fix. Can send additional photos of anything you want to see.
- the interior was stripped clean and needs to be upholstered. But has two working leather seats from the 06 charger. They are electric too.
- the dash cluster and ignition were all wired up from the 06 charger. Lights windshield wiper, turn signals have all been wired up.
-will need some type of intake put on as well. Simple k&n would work.
-has power steering. And it works. But one of the old hoses cracked and needs replaced. Real simple task.

I'm sure I am missing something, but if you want to come out and take a look, please do. This would be a fast and fun car to drive once completed. And it doesn't need a lot to be road ready. Just a little ugly at the moment.
